Standard Practices #3: The End Result

It took 2 months, 6 people, and far too many man hours to create the behemoth 80 page document. I spent weeks on end writing every detail of the job and directing the graphics production to adhere to our company’s branding guidelines. Our team was able to create a living resource of all aspects of our jobs.

The standard practices document has enabled our new hires to more effortlessly fall in line with their fellow coworkers and at an accelerated rate. There’s a quick, easy way to clarify something that may not have been clear in initial on-boarding. It can also be a great refresher for those times we’re put on a given task we haven’t done in awhile. Overall, our standard practices manual is an active visual aid benefitting every range of experienced employee.
